Adult acne on the loose!

Having acne is a hassle for teens. But how about adult acne?

The teens are not the only one suffering from acne outbreak, adults too! A report done by dermatologists shows that there had been an increasing number of women developing adult acnes. Worse is that some of them had these adult acnes for the first time in their lives.

Teens used to think that their acne would just disappear for some time. But unlike what the teens think, adult acne appears to be on the increase among older women.

People with adult acne tend to have increasing sensitivity, therefore producing more oil than the usual. The cells that line the hair follicle become sticky and, instead of being shed in the normal way, gradually block the duct so that oil and dead skin cannot escape.

Inflammation was formed when bacteria propagate around blockage. Exposure to the air causes discoloration to the follicle with waste materials thus producing blackheads.

Whiteheads, on the other hand, are formed when the bacteria breaks down through the trap oil causing pus. Red blemish indicates more severe inflammation. The possible causes of adult acne are not known for sure. Although heredity may take part. Also, the reason for the increase of the late-onset adult acne is not clear until now.

Another myth says that poor hygiene causes adult acne. Sufferers tend to wash their faces to clear away excess oil more frequently than those with clear skin. They don't know that over-washing can dry the skin and make the condition worse.

The Acne Support Group advises using a pH balanced soap or facial wash at least twice a day.

Moisturizers can also help in lowering the secretion of oil in our skin. Also, when applying make-up, choose oil-free cosmetics and remember to always wash it away before going to bed or if you can't afford oil-free cosmetics, you must keep your make-up to the minimum.

There are many facts about the causes of adult

The teenage years are when acne usually starts. The body starts producing more sebum, and in turn this sebum or oil clog up the hair follicles in the skin and cause acne. The sebum is excreted from the sebaceous glands to the skin surface.
I foolishly picked up a plastic honey bear that was in a pot of boiling water, and the honey squirted out all over the palm of my hand. Immediately, I ran it under cold water, and then I ran to get your book because I knew there was something I could put on burns that was natural: MUSTARD.
Global warming, decreasing ozone layer, exposure to multiple chemicals and cosmetics, faulty lifestyles and wrong eating habits, invasive fashions and the changing human behavioural patterns has lead to multiple skin problems from minor to those of major life threatening ones.

acnes. Here is just some of which:

1.Adult acne usually begins with blackheads

Blackheads are not dirt, they're actually the result of oil & dead cells getting trapped in a pore, block the duct & mix with bacteria. Exposure to the air discolors them to black. Blackhead inflammation causes red pimples and it spreads when touched with dirty hands. When the pimple becomes infected, it develops a whitehead or pustule. These can break & cause scars.

2. There are several causes of adult acne these are:

Stress, bad cosmetics, hormones & birth control pills.

Stress causes your oil glands to produce more oil. Bad cosmetics lead to bacteria-loaded pores. Hormones cause the oil glands to exaggerate & birth control pills with androgen in them can cause breakouts.

3. Cheese & chocolate have nothing to do with adult acne

What do you do need to do is get a good facial. Why? Because acne is not a disease, it is a condition of the skin & a good facialist knows exactly what your skin needs: sulfur, zinc & camphor masks, exfoliation, blackhead extractions & at-home follow-up.
